We were approached to engrave the new external signage for the Talay Thai in St Ives. The signs are made from accoya and then burnt with the yakisugi technique. Due to the composition of accoya, this timber will not rot as time goes by and so should stay looking nice and sharp. This sign came out looking awesome, and was then given to Craig Dunn, a local artist, to apply some finishing touches and put up outside the restaurant. I’ve heard great things about the food at the Talay Thai and will be sure to be down there in the next few weeks to try it out for myself! Go check their website out.
