Project Description

This is the first of two gorgeous oak tables completed alongside Cornwall Reclaim. The top, when raw, initially came in at a whopping 130mm thick. The oak top was then taken into our workshop where we flattened it to perfection on both sides with our CNC machine to 100mm thickness. The shape was then also cut out on our CNC using two sided machining, 50mm cut down from the top, and 50mm up from the bottom. This produced this awesome looking slab of solid oak.

Cornwall Reclaim then had the slab off me, sanding it through the grits and applied a lovely hardwax oil to the table top. Dougal at Cornwall Reclaim then made the awesome chunky legs to suit the table top, allowing them to rust and then finishing them with a two pack lacquer.

The end result is what you see here. Bespoke, one of a kind and unique design that really does look the part and is an instant talking point, helping to ignite the imagination of their customers.
